Chicken Butchering Days

When our meat birds are ready to be harvested (which usually takes about 8-10 weeks from birth), we have a chicken butchering day at our farm. This is open to everyone! If you would like to help, we’d love to have you! If you want to learn as you go, we’ll walk you through the process. If you want to watch, come on! If you just want to hang out and have lunch with us, please do! We usually start around 8:00 in the morning, get done with the butchering by lunch, and then bag and weigh them afterwards. You are welcome to come or go at any point in the process. Please contact us if you are interested in coming so we know how many to expect for helping or for lunch.
